While "The Dread March..." was really reminding me of Dissection (even the blue cover), this one was their debut full-length released by Candlelight and has more thrashy influences while already showcasing that imponent guitar work dominating most of the time, with raspy vocals and overall a greatly immersive atmosphere.
Favorite track: Tartarus Unbound.

If the band's ambition was "just to" reproduce old melodic BM classics like Dissection and early Emperor, I'd say it is a grand success, shit even the cover art reminds me of the "Storm" album... However, I wish this album had a bit more personality to it. These guys are from the U.K., after all. The first half is majestic, the second half a bit less. Still it's a very enjoyable melodic BM album.
